I love cruising online dating services. It’s entertaining and it fills up my time when I’m sitting here doing nothing but watching TV. It also gives me something to do when I’m avoiding other household chores. Such as packing!
In all of my internet cruising on these sites, I found a new one that peeked my interest just from the name of it. I found some tattoo personals and wondered what was up with it.
I went to their website and found that thousands of people are searching with this tattoo dating site. I’m in awe of this website, seriously.
There are random profiles listed on the front page of the website. I’m tempted to sign up, just so I can see all the various ink some of the people have. There is one profile that caught my eye, the guy has a back piece AND both sleeves. Holy lots of tattoos, Batman!
The design of the site is pretty cool too, it caught my attention and got me curious, that’s for sure!
If you are a tattoo lover AND single, go check them out, they may be able to hook you up!
I guess it’s not all that much of a secret, but seriously people. You didn’t know this about me, did ya? Did ya? Come on, be honest!!!
Those blogthings are silly time fillers, but sometimes they shock me with how accurate they can be about me or my personality.

You are definitely a lustful person, but you do a good job of hiding it.

While you’re not a black widow, you’ve definitely left a few guys feeling used and abused.

Is there one area of the country you live, that you’ve never been too, but dream about all the time? One area you would love to vacation for a few weeks at a time, to give yourself time to explore the historically rich area? For me, this area would be a portion New England; Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket specifically.
Being the internet geek that I am, I started cruising some websites and I found one that offers Nantucket vacation rentals, as well as Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard rentals.
The island of Nantucket is 14 miles wide and only 3.5 miles long. The main town is also called Nantucket. Nantucket exudes charm with a cobblestoned main street which is lined with unique gift shops, elegant restaurants, and stately homes. Nantucket is rich in history with more than 800 historic homes and buildings. Most of the historic sites are located in the center of town and are within easy walking distance of one another.
The island of Nantucket is accessible by air or by ferry from Hyannis. From mid-May to mid-October, it’s also accessible from Harwich Port. They discourage bringing a vehicle onto the island, since almost everything is within walking distance or you can use their public transportation they have. There are a few tourism bus companies and the like on the island itself.
There is so much information about Cape Cod and the Islands. I loved this website and found it easy to maneuver my way through the different vacation rentals and locations they have available.
WeNeedaVacation.com is your premier online source for vacation rental property listings in Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. I also found they do Florida rentals as well, so if you are planning a Disney vacation anytime soon, go check out their website.
I love to look at photographs. I don’t know if you knew that. But I love taking pictures and looking at pictures taken by others. I found a great website that has Penn State Football pictures on it.
After looking at a lot of those pictures on that website, I have to say Penn State is a beautiful campus. There’s this one photo of their stadium covered in fog. WOW!
They have shots of the Old Main building, which is just majestic; shots of the Nittany Lion Shrine (which I’m SURE there is a purpose of having a statue of a Lion, I’m just too lazy to figure it out myself); Beaver Stadium; Nittany Mountain and more. Beautiful area.
I still feel like crap. I woke up a lot last night, coughing and just generally feeling crappy. I got out of bed at like 6:30 this morning cause my back was starting to hurt. OK, someone just send me some cheese to go with this whine! And now I’m going to go veg out on the couch and sleep off and on all day to try to get rid of this cold I have. If I’m not any better by tomorrow, I’m going to the doctor to get some meds. Cause I seriously HATE being sick and I have too much to do around this house to stay sick for too long.
I have to go to the storage shed at some point in the next week to get all my crap outta there and go through it in time for the movers, who will be arriving in 19 days. 19 days people!!!!!! OY VEY!
Until next time…
As you all know, I’m recapping Heroes over at Fluff. After the show I watched tonight, I’m going to be recapping Moonlight as well.
I did my first recap of Moonlight tonight, so go check it out, wouldya? The show rocked my socks and has me hook, line and sinker. If you missed it, catch it next week on Friday night.
In a way, I feel like I’m cheating on Milo Ventimiglia or however you spell his name. I have a new crush in Alex O’Loughlin who plays the main character in Moonlight. Oh.my.goodness. The hotness never stops.
Until next time….I’m going to go sleep and dream of Milo and Alex. WHEEEE
For the last 6 years of my life, I have remained grateful that I was not duel addicted.
Duel addiction happens when you have more than one addiction. Several of my friends in GA are cross addicted. They are both compulsive gamblers and alcoholics or drug addicts. For years, I’ve listened to one particular person struggle with his drug addiction, while thriving in Gambler’s Anonymous.
I believe extra drug treatment might help him a bit more. The Watershed offers help for those people addicted to alcohol and/or drugs.
The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs offer a higher standard of care for men and women suffering from the disease of alcoholism or drug addiction. We can help, we have successfully treated thousands of alcoholics and drug addicts and helped them to get their lives back
I count my blessings everyday that I did not pick up my father’s addiction to alcohol. Nor did I pick up an addiction to drugs of any kind. I think I stayed away from the alcohol because I didn’t want to be like my father. And I stayed away from the drugs because of where I worked and thought it would be a bad idea.
The Watershed has a quiz you can take to tell if you are addicted to alcohol or drugs. This quiz is similar to GA’s 20 questions. It gives the person a guideline of things to look for in their own behavior.
I think my friend SC would really benefit from the programs they offer there. However, being the compulsive person that he is, he will probably just keep struggling with the drugs and continue working his 12 steps of GA.
I’ve always found it quite confusing when duel addicted people enter GA and yet, don’t get help for their other addiction.
If you know of anyone struggling with alcoholism or drug addiction, go check out The Watershed’s website. It’s a viable and affordable treatment that will change the life of the addicted person. Help is always close by, all you have to do is ask for it.
I just spent an hour and 10 minutes doing a Numerology thing that I found out about through Miss Monique. It’s really quite interesting and if you have the time, I would suggest doing it if you like Numerology at all.
It turns out I am currently in a “5” year and will remain in this type of year until I am 41 years of age. That’s 3 more years of “sudden, unusual, and unexpected experiences.” Well I’ll be damned if they aren’t correct. I’ve been in this 5 cycle for the past 2 years, which would take me back to just after Todd died.
It says that if this cycle lasts longer than 3 years:
A long period of 5 Essence suggests that it is apt to be a very free-wheeling period. Unless some self-discipline is exercised, most of the energy is likely to be scattered with little accomplishment. If this scattering occurs, there may be feelings of deep frustration.
I have been very self aware of who I am, what I do and why I do it for the last 6 1/2 years (since joining GA.) I can always tell when I’m scattering things in my life. It’s taken a butt load of self-discipline, so I’d have to say this is correct in a lot of aspects in my life; work, relationships with men, etc.
In this numerology chart, you start from the year of your birth and go forward to age 60 (or higher, depending on how many letters are in your name) and I noticed there’s a lot of “5” cycles throughout my life.
My next cycle, after I’m 41 will be the 1 Essence. The 1 Essence doesn’t sound so bad, until I notice it lasts 5 years (just like the cycle I’m in) and it says this:
Because this Essence is in effect for such a long period of time (more than 3 years), it’s meaning with regard to change is somewhat confusing. In some cases, this foretells of a series of dramatic ongoing changes, or one considerable change with many years between the beginning and the finale of the alteration.
How fucking cryptic can you be? Seriously. Are you fucking kidding me?
It seems my life is all about changing, growing, learning, etc. I don’t even see a set time or “cycle” in my near future where I settle down. Romantically speaking, this could cause some issues, don’t ya think? Seriously. I do want to eventually settle down with one man, but if this numerology report has anything to do with it, I’m not getting what I want any time soon. Fucktard.
I also believe that we can change our future and we can mold our own destiny. This report will only happen if I let it. If I sit back and NOT try to change things, it will happen exactly as in this report. Right? I’d like to continue believing that, unless I’m proved incorrect.
Until next time…
Shortly before I left my job, I was talking to one of my co-workers about a project she had completed at her house. She had a fellow co-worker, he was a corrections officer, come to her house and lay tile throughout. They went to the store and bought all the tile they would need and what not.
They started the project and when Shawn couldn’t figure out why one piece of tile would not lay correctly, they realized her floor was a little crooked. I figured it was cause he didn’t measure something correctly. He ended up having to cut the last piece tile in a funky shape to make it fit.
Knowledge is power and I believe a visit to DoItYourself.com and maybe even buying the “DoItYourself” DVD would have helped get better results, and would have improved the project.
They could have done the tiling and learned how to build a bookshelf. I think I will definitely benefit from this site once I’m learning how to do stuff around my apartment by myself.
DIY.com has lots of interesting projects you can learn to do yourself around the house. I really like the Decorating and Painting sections. The apartment lady has already told me I’m allowed to do whatever I want painting wise, so if I want to paint a wall, I can!
I must remain teachable when doing home improvement type stuff and I think this website is exactly what Miss Sodapop will need after she moves.
