Monday – April 18 Day 86

I think the title of this could have been “Welcome to the Circus”.  The Trainer was detailed to another house for the day, so I asked him for a workout and our conversation went like this:

“Hey, it only took me most of my 10 hour shift to realize you aren’t here.  If you get a chance, send me something for today?  thanks! :)”
“do what they’re doing”
“Depending on what it is, my shoulder may not let me, but I’ll see what’s up when I go down there.”
“I know what they’re doing, you can do it.”
“Alrighty, I’ll take your word for it.”

So I go downstairs after changing and let them know that he wants me to do whatever workout he is having them do.  Suddenly they all got stupid.  They had NO idea what The Trainer was having them do.  They listed about five different WODs from the Crossfit website and then started adding shit of their own.

I texted The Trainer and told him they didn’t know what they were doing, let him know what workouts they were talking about.  Told him I was in awe and considering making some shit up on my own, cause I have class tonight and don’t have time to play around with this.  He asked my why I said that and I explained to him what they were doing (again) and he said “Nice….”  So I told him I was going to go downstairs to the gym and told him what I was going to do, but I added a few things.

100 calories on the bike
100 situps
100 jump ropes (single under)

I added 100 more situps and 100 more jump ropes because I didn’t feel like I got anything out of the first portion.  Crazy, I know.

So when I was done, I told him “woooweeee they fall apart when you’re not here to guide them, just thought you should know.”

I have never, in my life, seen such a scene as I witnessed today.  It was amazing.   When they say women are indecisive, do not believe them.  I don’t even do “real” Crossfit and I know what I’m doing before I hit that gym most days.  And if the trainer has given me something to do, I do exactly what he’s given me.  I don’t add workouts, I don’t go on the website looking for shit to do besides what he gives me.   I’m tempted, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t do it.

Now to go do some homework, eat dinner and get ready for class at 9pm.
